Beautiful Cham Charm Castle Restaurant Saigon. Situated on the west of Crescent Lake area (District 7) and right under foot of Starlight Bridge, the Cham Charm castle is highlighted with the architecture as a sample after majestic and magnificent Ankor Wat temple.
Cham Charm is considered as one of the most beautiful restaurants of the chain’s restaurants worth millions USD of Khaisilk, a consortium owns restaurants with royal design, from Vietnam (Nam Kha) to China (Ming) and Champa (Cham Charm).
The first impression of the restaurant is a pure white color of a splendid castle which is highlighted among green tree lines leading to 4 meter high stair. As the door is closed, the space inside the restaurant likes a Champa king’s castle with brink walls covered in mysterious red light, My Son stone pillars, Linga statue, etc. Warm light makes every corner, every floor, every area become mysterious and exquisite.
The highlight of this upscale, beautifully decorated Asian restaurant is the Cham Charm special seafood buffet that includes Portuguese oysters, Alaskan crab, lobsters, sushi, sashimi, Japanese-style seafood, Langoustine prawns, American Angus beef and much more. Errazuriz wines are also included in the buffet at Cham Charm. Part of the Khai Silk chain.
Build on the concept of “preserving the traditional Champa Culture”; Cham Charm is almost a mini-museum of artifacts and sculptural works of this historic and culturally rich period in its impressive decor, creating an ambiance with historic meaning.
Viewed from the outside, it is a giant white structure, plain and fairy assuming silhouetted against the river. Multi-paneled windows allow some light and views of the lush greenery surrounding the building.
Inside, however, you’ll find gorgeous paintings and hangings done in colors hang on the walls, and many sculpture works depicting soldiers, dancers, dances and gods presenting Champa culture are placed with care around the restaurant. Interestingly, the restaurant itself is a special place you’d be hard pressed to find such thing anywhere else in the country. Gazing out the windows onto the river below, you’ll be astounded all over again at the scenery here.
Upstairs, the wide open-terrace accommodates plenty of tables with ease, and offering a breath of fresh air with a view overlooks the picturesque river. At night, you will find another beauty of illuminated river with night-fishing junks, sightseeing boats…crossing now and then…The 360º views are breathtaking, but they’re only part of the reason to come here.
This 5,000 square meter restaurant is named after the Champa Kingdom, which played a vital role in Southeast Asian history from the 2nd to 12th centuries. The plain white building’s exteriors do not prepare you for the opulent, museum feel inside. Offering what the restaurant calls ‘gallery cuisine,’ Cham Charm allows groups to dine surrounded by artifacts and art from the Cham culture. In the evening, diners are treated to twinkling lights from nearby fishing junks. Cham Charm boasts an extensive list of more than 1,000 wines, plus a cigar and Cognac bar. While the décor is inspired by Cham culture, the restaurant is best known for its extensive world buffet, with dishes from India, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan. Expect a queue at the hibachi table for the lobster tail, oysters and fresh seafood.
Cham Charm has an area of 5,000 square meters, can accommodate up to 600 guests. Restaurant space is divided into 3 areas. Top floor is used to serve barbecue food in a spacious and romantic space. The ground floor has many private rooms, for those who need a quiet space.
The restaurant is also known as the first cuisine gallery in Asia, more than 1,300 wines from around the world.
