The club will promote the goal of increasing the number of Japanese tourists to Vietnam by a million visitors a year and Vietnam tourists to Japan to 200,000 in 2017.

On August 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Travel Association (VISTA) launched the Travel club with the participation of 10 key enterprise members.

Close relationships Vietnam – Japan has contributed to make Japan become the leading market of Vietnam tourism. In recent years, the number of Japanese tourists to Vietnam has rapidly increased and in 2013 reached a record 600,000 arrivals. In addition, in 2013 there were 85,000 Vietnam tourists to Japan.

Speaking at the launch, Chairman of Vietnam Travel Association, Mr. Vu The Binh said: “The launch of the Japan Travel club in the South is to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese people know more about Japan country. It helps to promote cross- culture.

With the aim of increasing the number of Japanese tourists to Vietnam up a million visitors a year and Vietnam to Japan to 200,000 by 2017, Vietnam Tourism Association has completed an important activity for the Japanese market. That is to establish a travel club which guide Vietnamese tourists to three regions of Japan (the North dated December 16, 2013, the Central dated June 18, 2014).

The clubs operate under regulations set by the Tourism Association of Vietnam to create a healthy business environment among tourism businesses, support businesses providing tours and quality services for Vietnamese tourists to Japan, as well as to protect the legitimate rights and interests of club members.
