The Vietnamese Buddhist temple is located in 16B 3rd of February street, district 10, Ho Chi Minh city. The temple was built in 1963 by Vietnamese Buddhist Association. Former abbot was monk Thich Thien Hoa and current abbot is monk Thich Tu Nhon since 1965. He now is a member of the Central Council of Proof, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of central Buddhist Church of Vietnam.

The monk held a great restoration of temple and holy tower (8-storey tower, about 30m high) from 1993 to 1997 on an area of ​​3,712 square meters. The ground floor is the main hall and the Buddhist chamber is solemnly decorated: the Sakyamuni Buddha statue is enshrined in the middle, and statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva standing on lotus on two sides.

From the hall, there is a stair going up 7 floors of the tower. On first floor worships statues of Buddha Sakyamuni, Amitabha and Medicine Buddha, outside worships 30 Buddha meditating on a lotus. In four corners of yard have 4 statue of Kings, behind is statue of Bodhisattva Maitreya. Upper floors shrine Buddhists.

The temple has two big statue 800 kg weight casted in 1963. Besides the Buddha’s chamber is a room for releasing Buddhist bible. The temple also has a house of teaching Buddha Dhamma for nuns and Buddhists on Sunday night.

The front yard is quite large. Here, the temple has placed some statues: Renunciation Prince, Prince enlightenment, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, etc.
