This morning, July 14, the Ministry of Health reported one new Covid-19 patient who flew home from Russia, raising the country’s total number of confirmed cases to 373.
The patient, a 53-year-old man was placed under quarantine in Ca Mau Province right after landing at Can Tho International Airport on Flight No. VN5062 on July 9.
His positive test result came out on July 12 and now he is being treated at Ca Mau General Hospital.
As of 6A.M. today, Vietnam has undergone 89 consecutive days without community transmission of Covid-19.
Currently there are around 13,350 people are under quarantine in Vietnam, of which 72 people stay at local hospitals and over 12,000 others at centralized centers.
Among the 373 confirmed cases, 352 have fully recovered and been discharged from hospital, according to the ministry.
